What am I doing???

I keep getting asked alot exactly what is my routine since joining Weight watchers!
So here is a breakdown of a normal day in the life of ME!

I get up every morning at 7am. I get my 2 Toddler boys up (ages 4 and 5). I get them dressed and ready for school and while they are eating breakfast I normally have a Protein Shake for breakfast.... This is what I drink. I have tried Caramel, Chocolate, Strawberries and cream and banana and cream so far and LOVE everyone of them! I like to put mine in the freezer for 30 minutes before drinking.

Drop kiddos off at school and do my thing. I try 5 times a week to come home and walk on my treadmill for 2 miles (38 minutes). I have been able to work myself up to jogging for a few seconds at a time every so often (who knew I would enjoy to jog... just can't do much yet, but plan too!)! I shower (thats the worst part of exercising, you have to instantly get in the shower) and then do some laundry or some housework and then start thinking about lunch. I normally either have Tuna sandwich for lunch, sometimes I do egg sandwich, sometimes I have Turkey sandwich and chips or maybe even tomato sauce sandwiches (I used to eat them as a kiddo and still love them). I always save my biggest meal for supper with my family.

After lunch I run errands or do more stuff I need to around the house or work on projects for my home business (Dimock Creations ....looks me up on FB).

Then before long it's time to pick the kids up from school. We come home, they have a snack. I usally have a couple snacks throughout the day and it's normally watermelon! I don't know what I am going to do when it is out of season... We go through alot of watermelon here!

Then time for supper. I don't make me anything different then I fix my family. That to me is not a lifestyle change, that would be a diet and I am not on a diet. I still eat all the things I have always enjoyed but I have different portions sizes and cook some things alittle different. I still fix spaghetti, lasagna, chicken quesadillas, hamburgers, fries, BBq chicken. Etc! I just plan my day out to know what I am having for supper by how many points I have left. I don't let Weight Watchers run my day. I just plan it and go!

It doesn't take hours to do... it doesn't take a whole day to plan out your whole week. Maybe some do that, but not me!

After supper we get the kiddos ready for bed and then it's our time. My hubby and I normally either sit down and watch a movie together in our recliners or we will come into the office/craft studio together and I will do scrapbooking and he will do stuff on his computer.
That is my typical day!

Evening times are my hardest! Before starting WW I would snack ALL evening long. I did not even realize how much I was eating until I started watching it! It was nothing for me to sit down and eat a half bag of chips, half container of peanuts, drink a big milkshake all while drinking glass after glass of sweat tea! BOY has that changed!

In the evenings I normally enjoy a bowl of watermelon, popcorn, some chips, caramel rice cake chips (which are WONDERFUL). I am not going to lie, I still struggle some evenings. I just want to munch munch. but I will grab a 1pt Popsicle, or 2 point chips but it is getting better!

Some other things that have changed in this house. Since starting Weight watchers all I have drank is water.... YES you heard me right WATER! We used to drink 1 gallon a day just me and my hubby and I have not made any for either of us since day 1 of joining! It does us both good!! I drink water and hubby drinks flavored water. He is not on the weight watchers plan but we are trying to make more healthy decisions for our home!

I feel so much better! I have so much more energy. I actually can run and play with my kiddos!!!! That is HUGE for me!!

ANYONE can do this! You just have to have a mind set to want too!!!

Since starting weight watchers 5 weeks ago I have shared so much of my journey on my FB page that I have been able to have 6 of my friends join me in weight watchers!!!!!!! LOVE IT! I am SO very proud of them!

We are still big on eating out! We eat out at least 80% of our meals. BUT I CAN!!! Thats the great thing about Weight Watchers.. there is good choices everywhere you go.. you just have to look for them!

Also  BIG BIG thank you to my new friends that I am starting to meet at my weekly weight watcher meetings! I learn so very much for each and every one of them! They have been such a huge help and support to me!
